Michelle Obama does Pilates too!!!

As you all know I LOVE Pilates and feel it is beneficial for all. I was so excited last week when my mom called me and exclaimed, “The First Lady does Pilates!!!” 

Michelle tells all about her exercise routine for staying healthy and fit in the November issue of Prevention Magazine! A big part of it, the First Lady says, is her early-morning exercise regime. She varies her 4:30 am workouts with Pilates, cardio, stretching, and weights.

“I enjoy arm exercises because you can see what it’s hitting,” she says. “With exercising, the more you do it, the more you get into it.  And the more you see results, the more you’re pushing for the next level. That’s when it just clicked for me.” 

The First Lady’s number one health rule: Give yourself permission to be happy!
